County Commissioner Catherine Grasso took office in December 2022, representing District 3 and working for all citizens of Calvert County on the Calvert County, Maryland, Board of County Commissioners. She is serving her first term.
Before retiring from federal service, Grasso formulated and executed the budget for an agency of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Under the direction of Congress, she also ran three nationwide programs directly tied to the livestock industry.
Grasso has lived in Calvert County for 47 years. She has served on the Library Board of Trustees, the Calvert Hospital Ball Committee, as president of the Republican Leaders of Calvert and chair of the Calvert County Republican Central Committee.
Grasso resides in Dunkirk, where she and her husband Frank raised their three children.
