The Calvert County Commission for Women is committed to helping Calvert County women succeed. The commission is primarily concerned with the economic self-sufficiency of women. Through publications, conferences, speaking engagements, information and referrals, the commission reaches out to women and organizations that work on behalf of women and their families. We advise government, promote solutions and serve as a countywide resource to ensure social, political and economic equality for women and their families. The commission is comprised of 15 volunteer members who are appointed by the Calvert County Board of County Commissioners.
